Clubfriends Radio & Records is a personal project created by Alexa Colas, a cultural producer and community builder who has found belonging and endless discovery through music. It began in her living room, transformed into a record store—bringing those moments home as a way to explore what moves her on and off the dance floor, beyond nightlife, and in conversation.
In 2025, Alexa invited the public into that exploration at the DesignPhiladelphia Festival, transforming her living room into a public installation that encouraged connection through music-centered experiences, later memorialized as moments in the Clubfriends Collection.
As part of Philadelphia’s 250th celebrations, Clubfriends Radio & Records expands into a public storefront—serving as a visitor center for music lovers, inspired by the role record stores around the world have played in her own life.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
